About us

We are two young dynamic people from distant cultures. Markus is an initiative young farmer born and raised in the town of Schoenengrund, Switzerland, and Nyree is an International Sales and Marketing Co-ordinator from Sydney, Australia. Our two cultures and firm international awareness makes us a dynamic couple in the world of alpacas.

The Town of Schoenengrund, where our alpaca ranch is situated, lies in the Appenzeller hinterland at the foothills of the Swiss Alpstein region. The Mountain Saentis symbolises our trademark and for this reason finds a place upon our logo.

With a farm upbringing in the breeding of Swiss Brown Cows and Pigs together with a farming degree, Markus brings years of experience in working with animals into our alpaca business. With her international sales experience and love of animals Nyree brings with her a well business minded attitude with solid international connections to the alpaca world.

Our open minded attitude enticed us to constantly search for new challenges and establish new enterprises. When we heard of the exotic animal “Alpaca” and became more involved with these beautiful animals, we were immediately convinced in all regards. We knew instantly that this was definitely to be our new enterprise, there is no better exotic animal better suited to our hilly incline than the Alpaca.
