The establishment of your own Alpaca herd
Currently we have a selection of dams for sale. The price also includes guaranteed pregnancy. We sell these Alpacas to interested parties, who wish to share in the long-term development of this new industry. We offer alpacas from simple nature conserves up to high standing breeders.

The minimum size of the herd for self-sufficiency depends completely on your own goals. The possible return on investment must be weighed out against the desired growth of the herd. If the Alpaca herd should be your only source of income, a larger number of animals should be considered. So each year sufficient dams can be sold, without thereby endangering the growth of the herd (your future income). However, if you are more interested in developing a herd over several years and at the same time rely on another source for your income, then it is possible to begin with only two damsYou will obtain a clear increase in the value of your herd with the birth of a female "cria". 

In a market, in which the demand exceeds the offer, it represents a valuable future breeding dam. A female "cria" can already be bred at the age of 12 months. The young animal will most probably obtain a higher price than that of its mother, as she is younger and - her blood lineage is known- the founder of a family tree.

Protect your capital
All our Alpacas can be identified on the basis of a microchip implantation. At the same time this also serves as a deterrence to possible thieves. In principle we recommend the use of a microchip, even though as yet no thefts have been made apparent. Additionally, it is possible to insure the animals against theft and death.
